WMAS Goes Live with Electronic Patient Care Solution

May, 2008 - West Midlands Ambulance Service NHS trust (WMAS) became the third of six trusts in CSC’s region of the national program to go live with the latest version of Siren ePCR suite, Medusa’s flagship ePCR solution. Designed for use in ambulances en route to hospital, Siren and its complementary hardware employ an easy-to-use, touch screen interface that enables paramedics to record patient data more accurately, and in less time, than with pen and paper.

Medusa is extremely pleased with the WMAS deployment and with another trust going live. Steve Hattersley, Medusa’s VP of Strategic Business, says “this was one our smoothest and quickest rollouts. We started working with WMAS in December, and they went live in March. Everything was done in record time from submitting configurations, user testing, to training paramedics.
