March 2008 - The Regionale Ambulance Voorzieng Provincie Utrecht (RAVU), the Netherlands’ largest ambulance agency, made history today as it started the rollout of Siren ePCR to its fleet of more than 60 vehicles. The initial group to be trained on the system have already started charting calls completely in Dutch. Siren is the only commercial ePCR product on the market that has been fully localized to their native language.
Designed for use in ambulances en route to hospital, Siren’s easy-to-use, multi-lingual, touch screen technology allows paramedics to record patient data more accurately, and in less time, than with traditional pen and paper. Leading EMS agencies worldwide are recognizing and embracing Siren as the ultimate product. In the UK alone, over 60% of the ambulance trusts are to be outfitted with Siren.
