While other companies focused on recreating paper forms with pull-down menus and stylus-based interfaces, Siren ePCR pioneered the concept of the “easy-to-use, big button touch screen interface”. This concept is now adopted by the industry and has been copied by almost every other vendor.

To maintain our edge in innovation, we continue to invest heavily in research and development. This has allowed us to be the first to provide our customers with features such as:

• Wireless Bluetooth integration with a monitor /defibrillator allowing paramedics to easily transfer data directly into the ePCR.
• Real-time hospital alerting with the Siren Hospital Notification Board, allowing the triage nurse to see at-a-glance critical information of all in-bound patients.
• Real-time integration with the Regenstrief hospital records system giving medics field access to a patient’s medical history.
• Real-time integration with a MedicAlert database allowing paramedics to get critical medical information in the field.
• E-mail connectivity allowing a paramedic to send a summary report to a patient’s family doctor.
• To advance Siren ePCR even further into the future, we host an annual user group to continue to collaborate with our customers and to capture customer ideas and suggestions.
